What is it about the donut shape that is so enticing? Is it the dynamic tension of a circle within a circle? Or is it the balance between positive and negative shapes? When we saw Joseph di Pasquale new building in Guangzhou in Dezeen we thought yes this is inspiring. It's certainly a motif we love and keep coming back to.
