I love the work of Mondrian, one the founders of modern abstract art. In his search for aesthetic purity he reduced his visual language to geometric elements. And restricted his colour palate to the 3 primary colours (red, blue & yellow) and the 3 primary tonal values (black, white & grey).
Working within his colour aesthetic framework has been an intriguing challenge.
